February 5, 2013Groovey of Hollywood Music Magazine conducted an interview with GUNS N' ROSES bassist Tommy Stinson at this year's NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, a massive music-products convention that took place January 24-27 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. GUNS N' ROSES finished up its Las Vegas residency at the Hard Rock Hotel in November by having former guitarist and founding member Izzy Stradlin join the band onstage for the last three shows. Stradlin came out to play on a number of songs at all three gigs, including "14 Years", "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", "Used To Love Her" and "Paradise City". Stradlin last showed up to jam with the current version of the group at a show in London earlier in 2012.
He first returned to the stage with GUNS back in 2006 at a concert in New York City, playing with them for the first time since leaving the group in 1992.
Stradlin and GUNS singer Axl Rose were the only original members of the group to skip its induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame last April.
In addition to Rose and Fortus, the current lineup of GUNS N' ROSES includes guitarists Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and DJ Ashba, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman and drummer Frank Ferrer.
